Right now if I'm not studying, I will spend most of my time in front of television. I don't know why but I do think that japanese television show are way better than any television show there is (well I only watch malay, english and japanese so thats the only comparison I can make...)
Until now after more than 2years, this is the show that I will try my best not to miss any
1 London Hearts
What I like about this show is about its prank and candid. They try to play with people's mind and even ambition sometime. For us who watch the show, it is super funny (sape xsuka tgk org kena main...) but for those who experience it, it might be something hard to forgive and they can't be angry with that show too because it was a prank made by a famous television show after all. They even make prank to the extend of disturbing their private life too. Sometime there are some changes like a challenge to find some woman on the street and change her style or make some fashion check for idols.
2 Utaban
This is like a common show where the idols are invited and they talk about what they do right now (mostly about new drama or new single release...) but they do make funny jokes and I can't say no to Masahiro Nakai SMAP and Takaaki Ishibashi because they are a very good commentator especially Ishibashi with all the stupid jokes he made.
3 Mechaike

The host is the famous owarai duo (comedy duo) which is Takashi Okamura and Hiroyuki Yabe. The show is comprised of a varied selection of games and comedy sketches in a format that is relatively typical of popular Japanese comedy themed variety shows, though many of the games are never played more than once. Generally each show introduces one special guest, and they take a central role in most of the games.
4 Hey x 3!
This is a Japanese music variety show hosted by the comedy duo Downtown which is Matsumoto and Hamada. An episode usually consists of live performances of recently released songs from popular artists, chat segments and other fun and games.
5 Arashi no Shukudai-kun

I like this because most of the show from arranging it and hosting is made by Arashi themselves. The show usually introduces one special guest and consists of food judging where they will find the food which the guest like the most and games which is suggested by fans. And they also perform some stupid experiments like using soap and kulit pisang for ice skating and race to see which is more slippery and faster.
6 Himitsu no Arashi-chan

I don't know how to describe this show but its more to documentary. But the fact they show was very interesting and also funny. Like Agejyo(I dont know where this trend come from but the fashion you can see from agejo is like long and voluptuous wavy hair, light skin, big doe eyes, fake lashes, silky loungey dresses which I think is more to hostess) which I heard but never about the trend.
So overall this is my top list. There is some more but it will be too long to read so I only listed 6. I guess the show is better maybe because of the budget. Arashi stupid experiment about gravity control cost about 3000000yen. That is about RM100000. Can you believe that and its only a stupid experiment about eating noodles or catching all the pouring water in a no gravity state. And also about their jokes. The joke is more open and they are more open minded too but not in a bad way. But I think people have to know a lot about japanese artist or they might not understand who they are talking about and the joke wont be funny. Also the show they made is done after researching, not just decided without proper plan.
